There's a "she" in every women

I don’t like Sunday nights for the obvious reasons and then I get a call from her at 1 o clock in the night to let me know that she is leaving the country in a couple of hours. The horrible pain that I felt cannot be put into words.

I have grown with her and so I always knew her dreams. It was never a very big one or something which one cannot fulfill but there are a lot of buts in a women’s life. She wanted to be independent and let me tell you she has put enough effort. Effort enough to fuilfill little dream that she had.

I just don’t know who is responsible for all this.Is it her brother with whom she has grown up or is it her father who promises her all the happiness in the world the day she is born or is it her husband who took up all the secred woes to keep her happy. The minute you are born into a feminine gender you need to start sacrificing for the other dominant one. You start it with little ones and gradually you don’t even realize when you left your dreams far behind to fulfill the dreams of the other ones. What surprises me is she does it willingly and happily.

Keep reading to know more about the “she” I am referring to.

My Name is Red

For those of you who are addicted to reading ,if you read the first chapter you wont take up any other thing before you finish it up.Orhan pamuk has used am amazing style of narration for My Name is Red.Each of the chapter has a different narrator and you will be amazed to see how beautifully he has linked all the chapters. Each chapter has a different “I” and some of the chapters are a story in itself,(especially the coin chapter )however when combined they link well.

The story begins when Black a miniaturist and binder who returned recently from 12 years away in persia is called by his uncle Enishte Effendi(in charge of the creation of the book) to finish the secret book for sultan.Black is in love with his beautiful daughter Shekure who is married and mother of two.

Perfect blend of mystery, romance, and philosophical puzzles. If you read “I am a corpse”that’s it..you read the book in one go.The book begins with the murder of the miniaturist working for the sultan. The consecutive chapters deal with the suspected murderers.Trust me you are going to enjoy every line that you read.

Birthday Bang..........

Trust me nothing gives you more pleasure than cutting a chocolate truffle cake in the middle of the night at the terrace of your apartment with all your dear ones dancing to the tunes of the latest flick(munni badnam hui………malaika is amazing isn’t she?).Then munching away larger piece of the cake than what you actually are permitted.

September 8th happens to be one of my good friend's birthday. We din't become friends by choice but god chose this friend for me.When I first met her I had no clue that we will become friends and some day I will sit and write about her.But the birthday bang we had on her birthday compels me to do so.

Since it was to be done on the terrace we had to make a little preparations for it to be a memorable one.A bed cover and a few cushions were enough along with the music.

Once the cake was cut and we had had enough of munni, eggs and rotten tomatos found their way out.Not just the bday girl but all the four of us had to acknowledge the tomatos and eggs that came our way.No escape you see...Now am looking forward to the dinner she has got to take us out for.Happy Birthday Sweety…may all your bday wishes come true.

How to make padak wood table

You can make a simple but useful padak wood table with just some 1 by 4 or 1 by 6 lumber and a bunch of wood screws. The table can then be painted to make an attractive addition to your home.

Things you will need

Padak wood,sand paper,wood putty,electric drill,paint or poster

Instructions

1.For the table top you need to cut two pieces of 1 by 4 to the same length and slightly shorter than the overall width that you desire for your table. You need to do the same for the length of the padak wood table.

2.use screws to put the frame together to form a perfect rectangle. You need to check the size of the screw you are using, cracks will come on your table otherwise.

3.Now you need to cut four legs depending on how high the table you want to make. You just need to make sure that the four pieces you have cut are of equal length.

4.You have got to attach the padak wood table top to the legs you have cut.Drill into the table and fix the legs and then fill it with the screw.

5.you can give a poster finish to your table by pasting any poster to your table top or can give a painted finish.
